Toys, food, water, beddings, what more could pet parents need for their furry companion? If you have a rug or carpet in your home, then I recommend that you purchase a carpet vacuum. For some odd reason, cats have this sudden urge to find a rug or run to your carpeted room and throw up. Yep! It can be a hairball or something that upset their stomach but for some odd reason it can’t happen on your hardwood. Maybe the cat needs to make sure you see it and are reminded of this debacle.
Number 1 must-have for Pet Parents
Cleaning throw-up from carpets and rugs can be tedious and sometimes it can result in the stain not coming out. Instead of being annoyed with your cat, grab your carpet vacuum and see the magic before your eyes! Maybe after 16 years of having cats, I have gone a little koo-koo but I really LOVE my Bissell PowerForce carpet vacuum! I think that pet parents should all have them in their home because they make the process so easy and effortless.
This morning, after walking into Buddy and Frankies room, I was greeted with a little hairball drenched in orange liquid. Not one spot, but two! While I should have taken a photo of this magical hairball and stains, I decided there will be plenty of other chances. This week I have used the vacuum twice already so picture updates will come later on. Anyway, I grabbed my Bissell vacuum, added some warm water and solution to the top and got to work. Within a minute the spots were gone! It was magic! Emptied the bottom canister, and put the vacuum back in the laundry room for next time. Which I’m sure will be soon…
Carpet vacuum for pets
I honestly love carpet vacuums because they get rid of stains so fast. It can be used for other messes as well, like when you spill coffee on a white rug or drop a slice of pizza. Needless to say, I’ve had my vacuum for three years and have used it a lot! It was on sale for a hundred dollars and it’s the best investment I’ve made, so far. I just wish I got my vacuum sooner. There would have been no need for changing out rugs or hiding spots on carpets with a rug.
So, dear, sweet pet parent, please make sure to have a carpet vacuum ready. Because, whether you like it or not, your cat will surprise you with a stain, sooner or later. It might not always be something as nice as a hairball. It might be a long streak of brown matter. Use your imagination on that one or just look at the photo below.
I received this messy photo from PawDad asking me; “Is this your boy?” Umm, yes, that is my naughty angel Frankie. This is why after he does his business I chase him with wet toilet paper to make sure he has a clean bum. When I’m not there, well, the above can happen. But no worries, my Bissell vacuum got rid of that in a flash.
